Definitions & Terms:
1. Handicapped:
A person with a physical or mental disability that substantially limits one or more major life activities.
2. Education:
The process of teaching or learning, especially in a school or university.
3. Special Education:
Educational programs or services designed for students with special needs, such as disabilities or giftedness.
4. Behavior:
The way in which someone acts or conducts themselves, especially towards others.
5. Attitude:
A person's feelings or opinions about something, or their way of behaving.
6. Personality:
The combination of characteristics or traits that form an individual's distinctive character.
7. Impairment:
A condition or disability that affects a person's ability to perform daily activities or functions.
8. Evaluation:
The process of assessing or appraising something, especially to determine its quality, value, or effectiveness.
9. Assessment:
The process of evaluating or estimating the quality, quantity, or extent of something.
10. Snellen Chart:
A standardized chart used to measure visual acuity, with lines of increasingly smaller letters.
11. Tunnel Vision:
A condition in which a person's field of vision is narrowed, as if they are looking through a tunnel.
12. Refraction:
The bending of light as it passes from one medium to another, used to correct vision problems such as nearsightedness or farsightedness.
